HSE Advisor - Data Centre - Sweden (EU and UK passport holder are welcome)
Are you a skilled HSE Advisor seeking an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in Sweden? We are currently recruiting for a reputable engineering firm involved in a cutting-edge data center project.
As an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Advisor, you will have a key role in our project implementation and delivery processes. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of engineers and industry professionals to ensure the safe completion of projects. This position will be based full-time onsite at one of our projects in Sweden.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Providing general support and assistance to the Health and Safety Manager.
- Ensuring site personnel adhere to site safety and company requirements.
- Implementing and maintaining the company’s Safety Management System.
- Conducting site inspections/audits and reporting findings to the project EHS Manager.
- Identifying training needs and reporting requirements to the project EHS Manager.
- Conducting Health and Safety Inductions and weekly Toolbox Talks.
- Organizing and leading Safety Meetings.
- Reviewing subcontractors' Method Statements/Risk Assessments and providing assistance as needed.
- Assisting with accident/incident investigation reports.
- Submitting weekly reports.
- Conducting daily site walks and promptly reporting findings to project supervisors.
- Advising and assisting site teams in drafting Safe Plans of Action.
Skills and Requirements:
- A relevant 3rd Level EHS qualification is essential.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role is required.
- Experience in the Construction Sector is desirable.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office is necessary.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate well in a team environment.
